Delete your account

Start in the app when possible, or request deletion from the email associated with your account.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Campfyre and go to Profile.
  2. Open Settings, then Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm the prompts.

Cannot access the app?

Email privacy@getcampfyre.com from the address associated with your account. Include only your username and a request to delete; never email a password or one-time code. We may ask for a proportionate verification step before acting.

What happens

Account access is disabled and associated personal data is deleted or de-identified from active systems, subject to technical processing time. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety or law. We will not retain data merely to keep using it for ordinary product purposes.

Before deleting

Deletion is intended to be permanent. Save anything you need first. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
