Community guidelines

Campfyre works when plans are genuine, boundaries are respected, and everyone can leave safely.

Effective and last updated: 17 July 2026

Treat people as people

No harassment, hate, threats, intimidation, stalking, unwanted sexual conduct, bullying or discrimination. Respect names, identities, boundaries and consent. “It was a joke” does not excuse harm.

Protect privacy

Do not share someone’s address, phone number, workplace, live location, private messages, intimate imagery or identifying information without permission. Do not evade blocks or use another account to contact someone who declined.

Keep plans genuine

No scams, deceptive listings, impersonation, undisclosed commercial solicitation, ticket fraud, spam, dangerous challenges or deliberately false venue/time details. Do not ask for passwords, verification codes or payments outside a clearly understood arrangement.

Zero tolerance for child exploitation

Campfyre is 18+. Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualisation of minors, or child sexual abuse material is prohibited. We may preserve and report relevant material as required by law. Report suspected child exploitation at childsafety@getcampfyre.com; contact emergency services where someone is in immediate danger.

Unsafe and illegal conduct

Do not promote credible violence, weapons misuse, non-consensual acts, illegal drug sales, self-harm encouragement or activities intended to injure others. Follow venue rules and applicable law.

How enforcement works

Use in-app block and report controls where available. We assess context, severity, history and immediate risk, and may remove content or restrict accounts. A report does not guarantee a particular outcome. You can ask support whether an appeal is available.
